Order A is the AI approach within Epoch. The aim is to describe situations as changing structures of elements, relations, effects and feedback.
What you can use now
This page explains the approach. No AI model or autonomously learning system runs here yet. Terminal and MetaGraph already let you edit structures; they do not run Order A inference. No finished download or validated learning performance is claimed for Order A here.
The proposed process
Structure
Elements, relations and possible effects are named separately. Assumptions remain visible as assumptions.
Expectation
A possible action is linked to an expected consequence and the conditions under which it should hold.
Feedback
The actual consequence is compared with the expectation. A discrepancy calls for checking the assumptions.
